Description: Our client Wilmott Dixon required our reliable commercial scaffolding services to aid them with their project at Ronald McDonald House.
The aim of this project was to create a new build that is able to provide quality accommodation for families visiting their loved ones in the hospital. We provided a stair scaffolding system, bricklayer lifts, and edge protection. The purpose behind our Ronald McDonald House Charity project was one that was very close to the hearts of the business owners and staff involved, making it a credit and a really rewarding project to work on.
In order to create the perfect new build for this project, our services were required to provide complete access for the progressive works. Fall protection was also necessary, particularly due to the fact that the car park for the building was in extremely close proximity to the work area.
To deliver a scaffolding package that suited the demands of the Ronald McDonald House construction project, we provided:
Due to the nature of the project, we were required to make various ongoing adaptations to our construction work to ensure that the services we provided were fit for purpose. To do this, our operatives needed to be reactive to site demands from other trades to ensure safe working at all times. There were also challenges with regard to on-site logistics, due to it being a residential area and the close proximity to the nursery, local car park and hospital. We tackled this by ensuring that deliveries were planned and booked in advance so that access could be granted when necessary.
We were incredibly proud to provide our client with scaffolding services that met their requirements, particularly as the Ronald McDonald House is a charity incredibly close to our hearts.
