Project: Knights Park, Kingston University
Description: Knights Park, Kingston University is set in a beautiful riverside location, they were undergoing a renovation school scaffolding project at the time and required a fully independent access scaffold to be installed to the full perimeter for replacement of windows.
Throughout this school scaffolding projects, our team also provided a Ubix temporary roof system which was expertly installed to two large roof areas, with an impressive total covering of 2775 m2 (45m x 35m = 1575 m2) (75m x 16m = 1200m2). We used various bridging sections which were supported from structural columns at a low level which allowed all entrances to be kept clear.
There was also a need for a number of different hoist systems to be installed that aid accessibility on site. A heavy-duty hoist runoff was installed to full height and allowed materials onto roof level. Alongside this college scaffolding installation, we also provided a 2000kg passenger and goods hoist and a 1200kg goods only hoist. The client was pleased with the professional service and solutions we provided for this project.
