At MR Scaffolding we are passionate about making a difference to the world around us.

To raise money for Croydon Legacy Youth Zone we took part in Tough Mudder on the 18th September. The course consisted of 10 miles and 25 obstacles, so to say it was a challenge is an understatement. We knew it would be tough, it’s in the name. However, we knew it would be worth it as we know the good that Legacy Charity do every single day.
Legacy Charity offers young people, from ages 8-19 or 25 with a disability, the chance to socialise from different backgrounds. You can learn new skills or embrace an existing talent. With Legacy Charity the possibilities for young people are endless, ensuring these young people are on the right path to securing a happy future. At MR Scaffolding, we believe that the opportunity to socialise and develop new skills is something that should be available to every young person growing up. We knew we had to get involved to support a charity that are already making such an impact on the young people they help daily.

We managed to raise £3,720 for the charity with our Tough Mudder run. Although we are incredibly proud of this achievement, the work does not stop there. We regularly get involved with Legacy Charity and will continue to work to support them in close partnership for the foreseeable future. We hope to take on more challenges just like this to make a difference to young people’s lives.

Here is what Legacy Charity had to say about our fundraiser:
“I hope you’re both doing well and have recovered from the Tough Mudder! We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the team for completing it in aid of us and raising such an amazing amount of money – we really can’t thank you enough! I’ve attached a little thank you clip from the young people.”
