Here at M R Scaffolding, we love nothing more than to support local businesses and charities. Over the years we have had the pleasure of offering our support to many local causes and this is no exception.
Josh Smith, one of M R Scaffoldings valued team members and a few of his friends are taking part in a charity kayak event in aid of Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and the NHS East of England Acute Neonatal Transfer Service.
Josh and his friends will be taking on the challenge of kayaking down the River Thames from Oxford to Windsor, covering an impressive 103km in just 3 days. They will of course be ensuring that they stay within the government’s guidelines of social distancing!
As you are all aware, all medical services have gone above and beyond during this pandemic and continue to do so. Josh himself has personal experience of this service and is dedicated to raising money for this great cause.
There are only 3 ambulances that service the East of England and they work tirelessly day and night to provide transport for very sick premature babies to receive the specialist care that they desperately need.
It’s a great way to show their appreciation for the work they do on a daily basis and to remember their niece, Poppy.
Josh and his friends would really appreciate any contributions, which can be made here.
Many thanks in advance for any contributions and Josh will keep us updated on the event itself.
